What is Bio-Augmentation?
The addition of specific selected bacteria to the inflow of a Wastewater treatment plant.
For Earth supply liquid bacteria products such as For Earth Bio® which contains nitrifiers and denitrifiers indigenous to your existing biomass / MLSS / activated sludge.
By applying these bacteria to your influent you will achieve the following benefits;
- Improved Nitrification – ammonia reduction.
- Improved DE nitrification.
- Overall improved Biological Nutrient Removal
- Significantly less sludge production
- Significantly less odours
- Seed up new plants on start-up instead of trucked in activated sludge / MLSS.
